• Visit Tashichho Dzong :This grand fortress-monastery serves as the seat of Bhutans government and central monastic body. If your visit coincides with a local tshechu (festival), youll witness an unforgettable spectacle of masked dances, sacred rituals, and vibrant traditional attire. These festivals are not just performances—theyre deeply spiritual events believed to confer blessings on attendees.

• Stop at Buddha Dordenma: One of the largest seated Buddha statues in the world, it overlooks the Thimphu Valley and offers sweeping panoramic views—especially striking in clear morning or late afternoon light.
