A challenging high-altitude expedition designed for travelers who want to experience the Andes from a different perspective and attempt the summit of Chimborazo, Ecuador's highest mountain at 6,263 m / 20,548 ft.
The journey combines gradual acclimatization, spectacular páramo landscapes, mountain preparation, snow and glacier training, and a demanding summit attempt through the El Castillo route. From wildlife and volcano views to the sunrise from the summit, every stage is part of the preparation for this extraordinary mountain experience.

Mountains, Páramo & Acclimatization
The journey begins by heading into the mountains, as the landscape gradually transforms into the beautiful Andean páramo. Today is designed at a relaxed pace, giving your body time to begin adjusting to the altitude while you take in the dramatic scenery around you.
Along the way, discover the history of the Ilinizas and enjoy views of the surrounding volcanoes, with opportunities to spot wildlife such as vicuñas, llamas, and native birds. Spending the night at this elevation is an important part of preparing for the summit attempt ahead.
