Bodrum Castle will be our first stop. The Bodrum Castle (Castle of St. Peter or Petronium) was built by the Knights of St John between 1406-1522 on a small rocky peninsula set between two sheltered harbors in Bodrum. In the construction of the castle, the stones of Mausoleion, which was one of the seven wonders of the world and demolished due to an earthquake  were used. The Bodrum Castle (Castle of St. Peter or Petronium) has towers known as the French, Italian, English, German and Spanish, bearing the names of the nations responsible for their construction. After the island of Rhodes was taken over by the Turks in 1522, the knights left Bodrum and its surrounding territory on January 5., 1523.  Being  used as a prison for a period of time since 1895, the castle turned to ruin due to bombing of the French and English forces on May 26-28, 1915, during World War I. and was abandoned.

After exploring the Bodrum castle we will visit Underwater Archeology musseum. Bodrum Underwater Archaeology Museum, which is the only museum in our country and one of the few in the world in the field of Underwater Archeology, is located in Bodrum Castle. Bodrum Underwater Archeology Museum, which has been serving since 1964 has a rich collection of underwater artifacts dating back from the 16th century Ad to 16th century Bc. Most of these artifacts were unearthed during underwater excavations carried out on the shores of our country since 1960. In addition to underwater finds, land finds that shed light on the history of the Bodrum Peninsula are also exhibited in the museum.

After exploring the museum, we will have lunch at a very traditional local kebab house. An authentic anatolian and mediterranean  cuisine, which has the best beef, lamb, fish and local mezes selections in town.

After the lunch we will visit Bodrum windmills. A trip to Bodrum, Turkey, would not be complete without a visit to one of its most famous landmarks. Prominently sitting high on a hill of the Bodrum peninsula are the windmills. While they have long gone out of service, the windmills are a must-see stop for thousands of tourists each year. For some, they are a glimpse into history and culture. For others, it is a chance to see the vast land from a new perspective. Then finally, for some, they are simply a beautiful spot for grabbing some great vacation pictures. 

After the windmills we will go to explore Bodrum amphitheatre. The Bodrum Antique Theatre dates back to the 4th century Bc. King Mausolos is credited with its building. It has a classic Greco-Roman design that you see in amphitheaters from that time. During this time, it had the name Theatre at Halicarnassus. 

And lastly enjoying a traditional Turkish coffee at a panoramic terrace in Bodrum city and enjoying the view of Bodrum city.
