Best of Southern Kenya: 4 Days Tsavo East, Tsavo West & Amboseli Safari

Your safari begins with a warm welcome by the team, followed by pick-up from your Nairobi hotel. After a short briefing about the journey ahead, you will depart for Tsavo East National Park. The drive offers scenic views as you head toward one of Kenyas largest and oldest parks.

You will arrive at Voi Safari Lodge in time for lunch, with views overlooking a waterhole often visited by wildlife. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive. Tsavo East is famous for its red-dust elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birdlife, often seen around Aruba Dam. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Tsavo West National Park, known for its contrasting landscapes of volcanic hills, lava flows, and lush springs. Upon entering the park, enjoy a game drive en route to the famous Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear waters attract hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species.

Continue with a scenic drive to Ngulia Safari Lodge, located near the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary. In the afternoon, explore this protected area with chances of spotting the endangered black rhino, along with other wildlife such as elephants, leopards, and antelopes. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Tsavo West before proceeding to Amboseli National Park. The journey offers beautiful changing landscapes as you approach the Amboseli ecosystem.

Arrive at Kibo Safari Camp in time for lunch and some relaxation. Later in the afternoon, head out for a game drive across the open plains of Amboseli. The park is well known for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africas highest peak. You may also spot lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeest. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Begin your day with an early breakfast followed by a short morning game drive. This is one of the best times to capture clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro and photograph elephants against this iconic backdrop.

After the game drive, exit the park and begin your journey back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, the team will drop you off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your memorable safari.
