8 Days Kigali, Akagera And Volcanoes National Park Circuit

Upon arrival at the Kigali international airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. From there you will be transferred to your accommodation in Kigali.

The Nyamirambo Womens Center walking tour offers an enriching experience that immerses you in the vibrant culture and community spirit of Nyamirambo. After the tour you will have lunch in the nieghborhood and proceed with a visit to the Kigali Genocide memorial, where you will get an insight on Rwandas 1994 genocide history and the countrys resilience.

Today after breakfast, embark on a scenic transfer to Akagera national park, once arrived engage in local village activities near the park, where you will get to milk cows, make banana beers, weave basket and many others, you will also join a cooking class where you will get to make your own local lunch. After the lunch, proceed to the park for a sunset boat tour experience, where you will get to spot different wildlife including Hippos, crocodiles, different bird species and some antelopes or Elephants frequenting the shores.

Start day 4 with an early game drive to explore stunning landscapes of the park for almost a full day giving you time to observe various animal species including the big five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards and rhino, after the game drive, you will be transferred back to your lodge.

Embark on a scenic drive from Akagera to Musanze (Volcanoes National Park), you will stop in Kigali for a quick lunch break and then proceed to Musanze. Upon arrival, visit the Ellen Degeneres campus by Dian Fossey in Musanze where you will get an insight on the ongoing Gorilla conservation efforts and Dian Fossey History.

Begin your day with an early golden monkey trekking experience in the Volcanoes National Park ,once located, You are allowed to interact with them for one hour, witnessing their behavior up close as they play, feed and interact in their natural habitat.

Wake up with the breathtaking view of the Twin Lakes view, after breakfast embark on a canoeing adventure enjoying views of the Volcanoes. There after proceed with a scenic boat tour to explore the Twin lakes beauty. After the experience You will be transferred back to Kigali for dinner and overnight.

Depending on your flight schedule, you will wrap up your tour with a visit to different craft shops in Kigali for gifts and souvenirs shopping. Later your driver guide will drop you off at the airport for departure.
