The trek from Maccha Khola marks the first day of your adventure on the Manaslu Circuit. This segment, covering around 14-16 km in about 5-6 hours, takes you along the Budi Gandaki River, offering scenic views of lush forests, terraced fields, and small villages. As you walk through rural Nepali landscapes, you'll get glimpses of the towering peaks in the distance. The path is fairly moderate, making it a perfect introduction to the trek. After a day of trekking, you'll arrive at Maccha Khola, a small village nestled by the river, where you'll rest for the night in a local teahouse or lodge, soaking in the peaceful surroundings before continuing the journey ahead.
