Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley with photo stops along the way. As the landscapes shift from farmlands to open savannah, excitement builds. Arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge, followed by a short rest.
In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive — your introduction to the Maras incredible wildlife. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and perhaps your first lion sighting as the sun dips low.

Wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy breakfast before heading out for a full day of exploration. Today is all about immersion — vast plains stretching endlessly, acacia trees silhouetted against the sky, and wildlife encounters at every turn.
With a picnic lunch enjoyed in the wild, youll track lions, cheetahs, leopards, and large herds of zebra and wildebeest. Your guide will share stories, animal behavior insights, and local knowledge that bring the Mara to life. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxed storytelling around the lodge atmosphere.

Later, return to the lodge to relax, enjoy the views, or take a nature walk around the lodge grounds.
