Tsum Valley Trek

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM). Our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. A detailed trek briefing and gear check will be conducted in the evening.

Begin a long but scenic drive from Kathmandu to Machha Khola. The road follows the Trishuli River and offers views of lush hills and terraced fields. Settle into a guesthouse for the night.

Start your trek by following the Budhi Gandaki River. The trail is rugged and challenging, passing through small villages and over a suspension bridge. The trek ends in Jagat, where you will register your permits.

The trek to Lokpa marks the official entry into the Tsum Valley region. The trail ascends steeply, offering beautiful views of the Sringi Himal and passing through traditional Buddhist villages.

Today's trek is to Chumling, the first village in the lower Tsum Valley. The trail descends to the river and then climbs to the picturesque Chumling, known for its monastery and traditional houses.

Cross a suspension bridge and begin the ascent to Chokhangparo. As you gain altitude, the landscape changes, and you will be rewarded with incredible views of Ganesh Himal and Himalchuli.

Continue your journey to Mu Gompa, one of the highest points of the trek and the largest monastery in the Tsum Valley. The trek is challenging but spiritually rewarding.

A day dedicated to exploring the ancient Mu Gompa monastery. Visit the sacred grounds, interact with the monks, and take in the serene spiritual atmosphere.

Begin the return journey, trekking back to Chokhangparo. The descent is easier and allows you to enjoy the views from a new perspective.

Continue the descent to Chumling, passing through the same landscapes you saw on the way up, but now with a sense of familiarity.

Trek to Philim, a beautiful Gurung village. The trail descends through forests and over a river, offering a pleasant change in scenery.

Continue trekking to Tatopani, famous for its natural hot springs. This is a great opportunity to relax and soothe your muscles after the long trek.

Begin the final stretch of the trek, following the river back to Machha Khola, the starting point of your journey.

A long but scenic drive from Machha Khola takes you back to Kathmandu. Check into your hotel and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

A full day to explore Kathmandu, including a visit to the Garden of Dreams or last-minute souvenir shopping. A farewell dinner will be held in the evening.

After a final breakfast, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) for your final departure.
