Your trip starts with a beautiful drive through the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, which takes you across the High Atlas Mountains. The winding roads offer stunning views of valleys and Berber towns. You'll stop at Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed fortress that has been used as a caravan crossing for hundreds of years. Then you'll keep going through the oasis of Skoura and the rose fields of Kalaat M'gouna to get to the beautiful Dades Valley, where you'll spend the night.

On the second day, the scenery changes a lot as you head to the Todra Gorge, a canyon with steep red rocks and a clear river that flows through it. Right after a short walk through this natural wonder, you'll keep going through desert towns like Rissani and Erfoud, which are known for their busy markets and fossil workshops. You'll get to Merzouga, which is on the edge of the Sahara Desert, in the late afternoon. As the sun goes down, camels are ready to take you across the Erg Chebbi dunes. The sand will be colored gold and orange. There will be a traditional dinner, Berber music by the fire, and a night to remember under the stars at the camp.

The third day starts early, and you ride camels back across the dunes just in time for sunrise. The desert wakes up to a quiet, bright world. The trip back to Marrakech will go through the Anti-Atlas Mountains and Ouarzazate again. The trip will start after breakfast when you meet your guide.
